So here are pictures of Madelyn's room. I think it turned out beautiful. See the cute little lamp. Madelyn loves having her own reading lamp.
On this wall above her dresser I put these. They are 2 wooden boards that I got at Hobby Lobby, painted blue and pink, cut out the letters and put them on with Mod Podge. I love them. "Sweet Girl" describes Madelyn perfectly.
Now the stool. I also bought it unfinished at Hobby lobby and used Mod Podge and coordinating papers to get it to look like this. It turned out better than I could have imagined.
The curtains are actually a shower curtain that I cut in half and finished the edges. It was so easy. It already had the holse in the top for the shower rings and I just threaded the ribbon through them instead.
Another thing I am proud of are these letters. I bought the letters at Hobby Lobby. They come already painted white. They are 2.99 regularly but quite often go on sale for half price. (that's when I bought them). Again I just used decorative paper and mod podge, sanded the edges, did a final coat of mod podge and then embellished with buttons, ribbons, and eyelets.
Don't these match her room perfect? Again I found them at hobby lobby on clearance for 1.49! Yeah!!!!
Sadly the toy box is still chipped and the hinge is not replaced. I am waiting for the hinge to arrive via mail. Then we will finish it off!
Another view. . .

Her vanity. Let me know what you all think. . . .

holy cow!! That all would take me about a year to do- if ever! WOW!! I'm so impressed!! Gorgeous!!
That is so great. I need you to be my neighbor again...all those projects so beautifully done. Love the letter, stool, CURTAIN (I'm going to copy that for sure), actually all of it. Nice work.
do all the girls have their own vanety area?
the 3 girls are in 2 rooms that each have their own vanity and share a bath and toilet (a jack n' jill) -- Julianne and Catherine share one vanity and Madelyn has her own and then their rooms connect through the toilet / tub area
looks great! It's kind of funny, because Eden's room has the exact same colors...I was going for the vintage look too. Eden's walls are painted a light blue though, but same accent colors. great minds think alike....right?
love the step stool by the way. I may copy that idea. It's so cute!
Her room looks awesome! I too, am going to have to steal some of your ideas! What's new though, lol!
That looks very nice. Girly, but not too much. I can't stand pink and lace and ruffles so I figure naturally I'm going to be blessed with the ultimate girly daughter. I think my favorite idea is the curtain. You have quite a knack.
