This is a tradition that my family did during my growing up years. I don't even know exactly where my parents learned how to do these. (I think maybe my mom learned it at a homemaking meeting???) These eggs are fun to make and beautiful. They last for years (until you break them on accident). I finally bought the specialty dyes, the beeswax, the kitsky tools, and we did them!
The kids have especially loved it. I must say that the instant I smelled the melting beeswax I was transported in my memory back to being a kid and making these with my mom and dad and my siblings. It is amazing how powerful scent is.
I'll teach you if you want to learn!!!
