This morning the kids and I as well as Shad, Amy & their kids went to spend the day at a friend's bay home. We left at 8 am and got home at 10 pm. I don't know if we could have crammed more fun into our time.
First, these friends are long time neighbors of my parents. In fact Russell said he has known them for 25 years. He and his wife, Chiffon have 2 kids that are the ages of some of our kids so the kids always have a good time together.
Their home was beautiful and perfect for all kinds of adventures. We played on the waterslide, went to the beach, went on boat rides, walked along the shore (I didn't take my camera), collected hermit crabs, gathered shells, ate hot dogs and brats for lunch, had a fish and shrimp fry for dinner, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Their home is filled with shells and decorations. Here in random order are pictures from our day. We had so much fun!!!
