Everyone describes New York as the concrete jungle, but I beg to differ. The freeways in Houston are more concrete than the entire island of manhattan!!!
This is a picture of a state highway -- I really wanted to get a picture of I-10 -- because it is twice the size of TX 59 --
Every freeway has feeders on the sides and has HOV lanes in the middle and the speed limits are 70 or 75 -- and it might sound dumb. . . but I really miss straight roads, driving fast, and big freeways.

So I like to look at this picture after driving the windy, narrow, 2 way-2 lane roads, with a speed limit of 25.
