Bokeh is a photography term describing the areas of a photo that are not in focus. A good photograph's composition is defined by those things in focus just as well as those things out of focus.
So this evening the boys and I played with some Christmas lights to achieve differing looks with our bokeh.



And here was the actual setup -- christmas lights draped over the back of the couch.
I kept trying to get a picture of my little nativity set, but Owen just wanted to grab them!
