Thanksgiving point museum, BYU, and the natural rock water slide

Another busy day. We did the Museum of Ancient life at Thanksgiving point, drove down to BYU (where Heidi met up with us). We wandered around campus, did a little shopping and then headed to the water slide my brother told us about. It was about a mile hike and then VERY cold water!!!!

The Leonardo, city creek and temple square

Once in Utah, we got settled, drove to see Trent's grandma white and got a good night sleep. Today we had a busy day! We went to the new Leonardo museum, city creek mall and temple square.

Traveling to Utah

All too soon, our little trip to Seattle was over. We packed up and headed for the airport. The kids are getting to be pros at traveling and they all handle it like it is no big deal which makes the trip seem easy!

Relaxing Sunday -- until the kickball games began!

We went to church together and then we took our kids up to see Snoqualmie Falls. We were really hoping to drive up to paradise and see Mt. Ranier upclose, but the mountain was socked in. The falls were beautiful though and we had a great time. Then we just hung out at Baba's and started a three hour long kickball game. It was so fun to be with everyone!

Saturday

Saturday was all about Family! We had a family reunion to pre-celebrate Baba's upcoming 90th birthday. It was fun to see everyone.

We all had gathered 10 years ago for her 80th birthday and it is amazing to see how much things have changed.
This picture shows the 2 events side by side. On the left, it is Baba with most of her grandkids and great grandkids. On the right, only the great grandkids fit on the steps. I might have the count wrong . . . but I believe it is 4 sons, 17 great grandkids, and 32 great grandkids (with 2 on the way). Here is just the today version.

After the brunch, nearly everyone headed to my uncle Mark's place in Hansville for his wedding reception. The day was beautiful and we enjoyed walking along the beach and visiting with family. We took the ferry back and ended the evening with a lovely crab dinner.
