New York, New York

Start spreading the news
We leave in July (probably)
We want to be a part of it,
New York, New York
This family of almost 7
Is longing to stray
And make a brand new start of it
New York, New York
We want to sleep through the night in the city that never sleeps
To find we're king of the hill, top of the heap

These little town blues (cuz you know how small Houston is)
Are melting away
We'll make a brand new start of it
In old New York
If we can make it there
We'll make it anywhere
It's up to you, New York, New York.

Your mom must be so sad!!!! What will you do with your new house? Sell it of course! I grew up four hours away from NY. My heart left a piece back east. It is beauty!!! BUY LOTS of snow clothes!!!! yeah for new adventures...never a dull moment!

I'm so happy for you guys, but sad for those of us who will miss you greatly!!! You'll have to definitely keep your blog going, so we experience NYC vicariously through you!!!! Good luck with everything!!! BTW, I love the song, clever way to let us know!!!

Chris and I had a whirlwind 72 hour vacation in New York and loved it. We plan to go back, maybe we will finally get to see you when we go on vacation.

I can't believe you're picking Conneticut over NJ!!!! We probably won't be able to understand you and your kids after a year or so with your Texas accent thrown in with an East Coast accent! You'll love it! I'm still jeolous. Pat Hanis
