The watermelon

A year ago we brought home a seedless watermelon from the store. It was unfortunately filled with seeds. So we had fun spitting them all over the grass.

I bet every last seed has germinated and sprouted up in my grass. 

I pulled and pulled them and finally took one and stuck it in one of my beds. You almost have to honor that kind of determination. 

Here it is today. 6 big melons growing so far.
