So I'm not a fast runner. But. . . I'm improving. The left is my 7 mile run a year ago. And the right is my 7 mile run today. I'm getting better.

Our youth activity tonight was "where's Waldo" at town square. 11 adults were dressed incognito. I was an old lady. Many groups just ran right by me.



We hiked to the lake. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon.



Owen wanted a Mohawk. Then he wanted daddy to have a Mohawk.

Goodbye snow cone station. Hello hot chocolate bar. I'm in love with the flavored creamers. They make so many flavors - almond joy, heath bar, hazelnut, vanilla, caramel,and more!



Can this be real? Next years sunbeam class came in to visit primary today for the first time. #mybaby

Thanksgiving

We had 2 families over for Thanksgiving.  It was a wonderful meal and fun time.   I've so much to be thankful for.

Ice at the Gaylord Texan

We started off our Christmas season by going to the ICE exhibit at the Gaylord Texan. We went with 2 other families and all of the greater DFW area (or at least it seemed that way -- just a little crowded.) This year's theme was The Nutcracker. It really is amazing to see. It also is really cold. We came prepared (coats, hats, scarves, gloves) and still wore their additional parkas and were still a little chilly 8 degrees is cold!

My new nephew

Amber called at 10 am to let me know she was in labor. I drove to Houston, got there abour 3:00. Baby Jack was born around 5:10. I started the drive home at 9:00 and got home at 1 am. So WORTH it. Baby Jack was 9 lbs 1 oz! Super big!
