Madelyn's cross country meet

Madelyn started cross country at the middle school. She might not really enjoy it yet. Today's meet was freezing cold.

She's also gotten really tall in the past year.

I dressed in the coat that's like a sleeping bag to keep warm!

Glass ornament

I've been working on making some glass ornaments and etching them with stencils. Here is one of them.

New organ

Our ward split a few weeks ago and today was the first day I had to play the new organ.

Chicken and waffles?

Today we went to a newish restaurant in town that serves chicken and waffles . . .  together.



And then we went to see Moana.

Lego advent

The boys got a Christmas toy shop and village and train to put together in preparation for Christmas instead of the daily advent lego calendar of the past couple of years. They are really having fun with them. They finished the toy shop today!.

The Grapevine Lights parade

We decided to check out the Grapevine Christmas lights parade. It was OK. More like a small town homecoming parade with a few lights.
The most fun was the fake snow falling!
