Like daughter, like mother

Catherine has a core group of friends and while each of us moms have met each other over the years, we decided to all get together for a night out.  It was a great evening.  There are a lot of reasons parents of your kids friends should get together.  I highly recommend it!

Madelyn loves to bake

Madelyn spent most of the weekend making the sugar cookie dough, refrigerating it, rolling it out, baking them, making frosting, and decorating them.

Labor day at the lake

We drove down to Shad's lake house for Labor Day. Shad got a new slalom ski and we all tried it out. It's pretty sweet.

Relaxing Friday

All the kids had school, but Trent did not have work today so we had a relaxing day together. We went to the gym, swam in the pool, read our books, went out to lunch.
