Redecorating

With the kids at school, I had time to find some new chairs and a rug for the family room.

Windy day

There was a big wind gust and it blew one of the big umbrellas into the pool.

Back to Sunday

We made cookies and had ice cream. Bluebell started to sell my favorite flavor this week, but I haven't seen it here in Dallas yet.

We had broadway show tickets to see this musical tonight. It was great!

Owen's assessment

Owen started out strong, putting the letters in alphabetical order. Then told the teacher he didn't need the rest.

The morning

The boys said good-bye to Julianne as she drove off.

Then they waited for the bus!

The boys loved school and loved the bus!

Owen has been ready to ride the bus for years! He has really enjoyed it!

The first day of school

Five kids, four schools, three bus routes, 2 proud parents, and 1 high school driver!

Sunday at home

We got up, had church, had a swim team meeting, took Hannah to the airport, had a seminary mtg, did dinner and tried to get everyone to bed at a normal time (all while doing laundry).

The long drive home

We all just kept thinking about the delicious gelato from the night before.

Friday at the beach

The ocean was the clearest and calmest on our last day, as if to tell us to stay there forever!!!

The kids used buckets and made a little aquarium. They caught jelly fish and sea cucumbers and fish and tons!

Our first full day of relaxation!

I got up early and ran 6 miles. This was my sunrise view.

Owen was the first one up and ready to spend the day at the beach.

Driving to Florida - Seaside/Watercolor

Today is the start of our vacation.

We finally had to leave the first restaurant since we still had a lot of driving to do. We finally ate at another place.

Second dinner was a success. We made it to vicksburg, MS. and then stopped for the night. We are bringing Hannah Moore with us.

The aquarium

My days to just go to legoland and the aquarium are coming to an end. So I took Adam and Owen one last time before they head back to school.

Watching Phelps

Every night we are watching Michael Phelps in the olympics. He has won a lot of gold!
