Saturday -- baseball tryouts and running to hit my goal

It was a gorgeous 77 degrees for baseball tryouts this year! In the past it has often been in the 30's so we were super glad for the nice weather.

Also, my goal is to run 1,000 miles this year.  So I have to average about 84 a month.

Friday family poker

For Christmas, Trent got a set of poker chips and since none of us have any clue how to play, we watched several youtube videos, read the directions, and gave it a shot.

Adam was the big winner, but here is Owen telling us how he is super rich!

Owen's favorite new game!

While we were in Utah, Trent's sister gave us a new card game and it has quickly become a family (and Owen) favorite. It's called eye found it and is quick and fun.

Adam's basketball practice

Tuesday nights is basketball practice. Adam is really getting some skills. Finally all the boys can dribble and ball handle pretty well so that it really looks like a real game!

Monday business

Today I cooked for the week with my friend and just had tons going on. I didn't take any pictures, but I did play around with the new snapchat filters.

Happy Birthday to me!

I always post a picture of myself on my birthday and post my weight.  This year is 144 lbs.

I invited my friends over for lunch and cooked a favorite of mine -- juevos rancheros.

Just as soon as we were sound asleep, one of them started beeping. Trent was so asleep, that he didn't hear it. I handled it and took this picture to prove to him in the morning that it really went off.

My new cookbook

I got this cookbook and have been enjoying it.

The last hurrah

Trent had to go back to work today, but the kids had one last day off before school starts tomorrow.  We went and saw "the good dinosaur."

Again, we are still trying to wake up normally and get back to a routine! I didn't take a single picture today. So another throwback!
