Today we got to go to a beautiful and fun Christmas party. We all kind of felt like we were in a movie or something fancy. There was valet parking at the home where the party was. All of us (including the kids) were invited.
The adults were on the main floor and the kids were downstairs in the basement.
Here is the "kid's" bar -- fully stocked with juice drinks and water
Here is the room where the balloon artist was busy at work as well as a face painter!
There were tables with markers and crayons, coloring pages, frisbee's to decorate, stockings to make, & santa hat bags to make to hold all your activities.
I just loved the big balloons.
The waiters walked around the basement with appetizers for the kids -- little sliders, little pigs in a blanket. It was so cute!
Here was the frisbee craft.
The upstairs was decorated to the nines!
I tried to discretely snap a photo of the most festively dressed person there!
At one point I couldn't find Adam, then I checked in the movie theater . . . He was there watching the polar express.
And later I checked the movie theater and he wasn't there, but I found him at the face painters!
The balloon artist was impressive! Catherine wanted to be santa!
Madelyn wanted to be an elf.
Here we all are after the fun!
It was so nice to go to an event like this with the whole family. It is so rare that someone takes all the time, energy, and money to cater an event that meets both the kid's interests as well as the adults.
I didn't even take pictures of all the yummy food Trent and I got to eat, but it was all delicious. Thanks so much to this family for hosting such an amazing party!
