More old photos

These pictures were taken at the old Children's museum in Salt Lake City (before it moved to the Gateway). This was in January of 2003 right before Catherine turned one year old. We sure had fun that day with those 2 little girls.

I got a new phone

and I love the camera on it! Not that this is a great picture -- it isn't, but I plan on using it for better quick snapshots!

Another day at the library

Owen just loves going to the library -- each time he gets a little more mishevious than the next.

The colors are coming

This photo is taken on my road today. It seems as if overnight the fall colors have arrived. I'm gonna have to start carrying my nice camera with me so I don't have to just capture the fall beauty with my iphone!

Another round of scans

I am in love with scancafe.com. I just send off a box full of negatives and a couple weeks later they are all scanned in and online (which is the stage I am at right now) and then a couple weeks later I get them all on a disk at high resolution. Here are three old photos I loved as I have been flipping through them.

This one is from Dec of 2000. I am pregnant with Julianne. It is me, my mom, my dad's mom -- Baba, and Amber. My sister Carrie is on a mission at the time.

This one is Halloween of 2002 and it is Catherine as a little clown!

This last one is from January or February of 1999 of me and my mom!

The Babysitter

Julianne has had lots of experience with kids and babies. Here she is on a plane taking good care of her baby doll. It doesn't seem possible that she is now old enough to actuallly babysit, but she is. I have been enjoying it. Today she even took a babysitting course (it was a day off of school here -- so we found a great online class for her to do). I was surprised how interested she was in the class. I figured it would take several days or weeks for her to get through all six lessons and pass 6 small tests and one mastery test, but she sat diligently at the computer for 3 hours and finished the whole thing. So . . . call her up if you need a sitter!
